#1 Of 5 Places to Promote Your Blog & Increase Traffic
Pinterest is the absolute number one place to promote your blog.
It is one of the best and easiest ways to increase blog traffic and leads.
You just create amazing eye-catching pins, pin them and wait for the link clicks.
I use an app called Canva to create those pins.
I use Tailwind to schedule the pins out ahead of time for more convenience.
My next recommendation is to use your email list for your advantage.
I have mentioned the importance of having an email list in my previous articles.
Email lists are yours, you own them so nobody controls it but you.
You can send out newsletters with previews of your article, they have to click it to read the rest at your website.
You can do this for every article once a week or once a month with previews of different articles.
Offering a freebie also goes a long way because it will help you build viewers to your blog

Instagram is an awesome way to share/promote your articles!
You can post about it, then post a preview pic on your story, telling them there’s a new post on your feed.
You can also get on a “Live,” giving a brief explanation to tease your viewers, then guide them to your blog.
It’s a very popular social media platform, if you are consistent with it, you’ll gain lots of traffic.
You can also put your website/blog link in your bio, your only allowed one link so choose wisely.
Another great social media platform to use for posting your blog posts, Facebook.
I post mine on both my personal and business page on Facebook, the more the merrier.
You can also join FB Groups and when they “allow” blog post shares or on promotion days you can promote your blog or post then.
Read their rules thoroughly though, it’s only allowed on certain days, you will get kicked out of a group if any rules are broken.

Finally, we have Medium, it’s an online publishing (blogging) platform only for syndicated content.
Meaning it relies only on the content provided by other writers/people.
Anybody can be a contributor and you have the ability to monetize as well.
Anyone with a blog can import their articles on to Medium.
Medium directly includes a link letting Google know that it’s a copy of the original article.
It shows readers who published the original article and what date it was published as well.
This way, your article won’t be counted as a duplicate but original instead.
Blogging takes a lot of consistency & patience, if you have that, you should be able to succeed.
That includes this post for now, for tips on what tools you need to even start a blog, check out this article.
